Hey Ceallian,
I'm tempted to buy the last remaining kinhome in the new RP neighbourhood.
I know I need 8 PCs to get and keep a charter. I know they can all be my own alts/mains if necessary. I know about the weekly housing fee. I know I have to be a level 5 PC to buy a charter. I know the kin has to be in existence for 90 days before I can buy a kin home. I know the charter doesn't limit the races that can join - it only sets the leadership titles that are granted. I know that I can change the kin name for $13 US if I want/need to.
Basically that's about all I know at this time. I would really like a run-down from you on the mechanics (not the social aspects) of creating & operating a kin that upkeeps a house.
If you could post some advice and any 'if I knew then what I know now' stuff, I'd appreciate it. Go with the supposition that I'd be the only account in the kinship.
Thanks! Khrys

mechanics wise there isnt much more to tell than what you already know.
some of what i'm gonna say i know you know already tho you didnt mention it so i'll start there.
you'll need the ~17g purchase price, obviously. you'll need another couple gold for chests if you want the 3 storage chests.
the purchase price includes first months rent but you can pay up to 6wks so have an extra ~500s to fill up rent for the 1st 6wks is nice but not necessary.
any non-kin characters you wish to have access have to have their permissions listed individually. if it is really going to be just you/your chars in kin tho, then you can go ahead and set all permissions by rank of your kin and all chars of that rank will have the permissions automatically as they join in
set Maintenance to everyone- this allows, literally, every/anyone to be able to pay your rent upkeeps for you if necessary or so kind (great for if going on extended vacay/leave)
other than all that tho, if you have no intentions of ever recruiting anyone, then there really isnt anything else you NEED to know cuz other than remembering to keep up on rent for the house, you dont have to do anything except enjoy your new kin titles and (when you get there) your new kin house

The only thing I can add is that unlike personal houses, your kinship's name always appears as the owner of your kin house. You can turn off "ownership" display for personal houses.
What other kin moved into Undervale? O.O

What other kin moved into Undervale? O.O /shrug I didn't go into the neighbourhood; just checked with the housing vendor. Only 1 house left and it's a kinship home.
