OOC: Ahh, so many places to post introduction things. I'll stick the character bio and info stuff I've messed with in the Character Bio-ey place. As for the OOC me, though, since I love talking about myself... *Preens*. OH, and by the way, my sense of humor is ridiculous. I've been considered a "weird" person by everyone I've known since middle school, mostly because I suck at making jokes that are... clearly jokes. So, just kind of assume everything I say is sarcastic, particularly when it comes to man-love.
Aaanyway! My name is Ryan, 24 years of age, I work at Apple in Sacramento, CA as a... uh, let's say "Technical Consultant". Okay fine it's jut telephone tech support, but its really important guys, seriously! I got a little badge and everything! Gaming wise, I've been playing since I could comprehend how to hold a controller, as I suspect most of us in my generation have. MMOs started with EQ1 and since then I've made my way through my share of them, EQ2, SWG, Vanguard, EVE, tried Second Life and WoW and couldn't understand how anyone likes either. Most recently my buddy got me back into MMOs after a bit of a break by getting me to try AOC. AOC was... bad. Probably the worst MMO ever made as far as features and content goes, though the gameplay was extremely fun for maybe a day or two.
Roleplayed throughout all of them and have had a great time when I could find the roleplay. Oddly, I never really played any pen and paper RPGs, though I was very fascinated by them. My roleplay roots came from those silly AOL chat rooms, roleplaying demon vampire emo love garbage, egh! God it's embarrassing to think back on, but it helped me get over some of the more common roleplay mistakes, I had some great teachers. Ummm.. Learned to type (the normal dorky 80+ WPM kind of typing) on a MUD called Darkness Falls: The Crusade. It was a heavy PVP mud, and there's no way to learn to type better than seeing a name enter the room and having one second to type "Attack character"
Anyway I better cut it off here, I think Vanity is one of the seven deadly sins, sooooo. Yeah, glad to be here, hope to meet more of you IC some time soon!
