I wasn't sure where to put this. Breguilas asked me earlier this week if I'd do a drawing of his character. Our scanner leaves a little to be desired, but I was bored last night and this morning at workies, so here you go. I'm sure the clothes could be a little more "Elf-y" but I figured she's a girl on the go and doesn't always have time for pretty dresses.

;D Hehe I didn't know you could draw, but then I suppose people wouldn't be letting you put tats on them if you couldn't. It's a very nice piece of work, she kinda looks like a swashbuckler. Errol Flynn ftw!

;D Hehe I didn't know you could draw, but then I suppose people wouldn't be letting you put tats on them if you couldn't. *blank look* You have no idea how often I hear that. I do custom work so I do a lot of drawing, though it's a very different style and much less time-consuming than figure studies or pieces of "real art." Some of my clients ask for paintings of their pieces to go along with the one on skin too. So... I spend a lot of time learning more about painting. Pencil is super fast for me. It took about two hours to do Breguilas' piece without a model to go by. If I'd had one, I could have finished it in about 40 minutes, the time it took to shade it. Painting, on the other hand... Last fall I did a series of custom Celtic knotwork on wood boxes and then "cupcake" pieces (cupcakes decorated for different themes, like a good and evil angel and devil cupcake, and some for careers like firefighters and nurses) that took me at least six hours per 7x7 inch wood block. O.O I'm a little slow. Heehee. So to pass the time when we're slow, I spend quite a few hours making art. And writing, though my boss makes fun of me and says I can't read, I just like looking at the pretty colors on the screen.
