((using chat logs from in game.... Boldregar and Elody Fairfoot are my new two hobbit RP characters that i intend to ONLY rp with...... tho they may eventually gain some levels due to RP related action and an occasional quest, i have no intentions of actually TRYING to level them!))
*Two hobbits, Elody Fairfoot, a minstrel and her cousin Boldregar Fairfoot, a warden Bounder initiate, leave the Shire for the first time and begin a journey to Bree in search of help to rescue their relatives.*
Wild Tusker threatens to attack!
Elody shouts, 'RUN BOLDY! DA BOAR IS GONNA GET US!'
*They run nearly nonstop all the way from the Brandywine to Bree and then pause after making it through the ginormous West Gate of Bree.*
Elody scootches up close to Boldregar and holds onto the back of his shirt.
You say, 'S'ok cuz, we made it'
Elody says, 'But but, lookit this place it's GINORMOUS!'
Boldregar eyes darting all around, nods to this
Elody says, 'How are we ever gonna find the Mayor longshanks in this place?'
Boldregar pats Elody on the shoulder reassuringly.
You say, 'Patience cuz, he's bound to be here ... somewhere.'
Boldregar purses his lips in thought.
Elody says, 'Well can we get some foods first, I haven't eaten since elevensies!'
Boldregar rumbles in the belly.
Elody rumbles in the tummy.
You say, 'Right-o! There's a good idea!'
You say, 'You know where we can find food here?'
Elody says, 'ME?'
You say, 'Yes you, who you think I'm talkin to?'
Elody says, 'How should I know? I never been to Bree before! I never even left the Shire til this mornin with you!'
Boldregar purses his lips in thought.
You say, 'Good point.'
Elody says, 'Of course it is!'
You say, 'I just thought, you maybe heard something in one of your tales of the world, about this place.'
Elody purses her lips in thought in a similar fashion to Boldregar.
You say, 'Anything?'
Boldregar raises an eyebrow in hope.
Elody says, 'There is... maybe, I dunno if it's true or not, but there is some place here with Ponies or something, I don't remember, some drunken longshanks mentioned it back at the Bird and Baby this one time.'
You say, 'Hmm, ponies eh?'
Elody nods emphatically.
Elody says, 'That's what he said, "the ponies".'
You say, 'Well then let's find a stable master and get some foods!'
Elody cheers at Boldregar.
You bow deeply before Elody.
*The two hobbits, Boldregar and Elody, miraculously make it to the West Gate Stable Master without harm.*
Elody scootches up close behind Boldregar's shield arm.
Boldregar tugs on the stable-master's sleeve.
You say, 'Scuzee, longshanks? Where can we get some foods around here, me cuzzen hasn't eaten since Elevensies and our bellies be rumbling.'
Elody holds her tummy tightly to staunch the rumblies.
*The Stable Master doesn't appear to notice the little hobbits and thusly gives them no response.*
Elody frowns.
Elody says, 'Men are so rude!'
You say, 'Right you are cuz, guess we'll just have to search on our own.'
You beckon to Elody.
You say, 'C'mon!'
*The brave little hobbits make their way Eastwards through Bree, constantly darting out of the way of all the longshanks running about and almost trampling them!*
Elody points at a Chicken.
Elody says, 'Look Boldy a chicken!'
You say, 'T'ain't our chicken cuz.'
Elody frowns.
Elody says, 'But I'm so hungry, I could eat a whole one meself!'
Boldregar rumbles in the tummy.
You say, 'I know cuz, me too!'
You say, 'But t'ain't our chicken'
Boldregar points at the sign of the dancing pony.
You say, 'Lookit cuz! A pony!'
Elody cheers.
You say, 'They must have food in there then! You were right!'
You cheer at Elody.
Elody bows deeply before Boldregar.
*The two Hobbits carefully flitter their way through the crowd and enter the Prancing Pony. It is very busy inside, a lot of longshanks about in the midst of many things from eating and drinking to playing music and talking*
((the rest is highly edited, MOSTLY just to snip out irrelevant stuff from other RPers in the Pony, but some lines are also swapped here and there because cea types like a speed demon at times and gets things in before i can have my 2nd character respond too lol))
Boldregar eyes all around the room quickly scanning for food.
Elody's eyes go wide at all the longshanks and scootches up close behind Boldregar's shield arm.
Elody says, 'I'm scared Boldy, there's so many of them here!'
You say, 'S'ok cuz, just stick close and if one walks at you, remember to duck through their legs!'
*After finally catching sight of a Man who appears to work there, Boldregar and Elody scoot their way carefully amongst the longshanks and attempt to get some food.*
Boldregar tugs on Barliman Butterbur's sleeve.
You say, 'Scuzee longshanks?'
You say, 'Me cuzzen and I hasn't eaten since Elvensies and our bellies are rumbling, can we have some foods?'
Elody holds her tummy tightly to staunch the rumbling.
Boldregar frowns and looks at Elody.
Boldregar whispers softly to his cousin, "How much coin you got?"'
Elody looks around the room frightfully then checks her pockets and pulls them out, some lint and a tumbleweed fall on the floor.
Elody says, 'I haven't much.'
Elody frowns.
Boldregar turns back to Barliman Butterbur.
You say, 'Just, um, some bread sir longshanks, and some water... if it's free?'
Boldregar takes the bread and water from Barliman Butterbur and passes it to Elody.
Elody cheers at Boldregar.
You bow deeply before Elody.
Boldregar points to two tubs up along the wall not far from the door.
You say, 'Over there looks like a good place to sit cuz.'
Elody nods at Boldregar.
*The two hobbits make their way back across the room to a spot along the wall not far from the door where two buckets rest alongside it. They each take a seat on one.*
Boldregar breaks the loaf of bread in half and hands a half to Elody.
Elody takes the bread and starts munching it hungrily, her eyes watching all the longshanks in the room frightfully.
Boldregar munches on his half of the loaf of bread slowly, his eyes eagerly roving the room, watching the longshanks with great interest.
*Much is happening in the Pony tonight, as the two hobbits eat their meager bread and drink their water, trying to be inconspicuous and not get stepped on along the side of the wall. Longshanks and Longears about, as well as some other hobbits, but Boldregar and Elody remain sitting along the wall, trying to keep out of harm's way.*
Elody finishes her half of the bread and gulps down her water greedily, she looks to Boldreger with wide pouty eyes, "Is-is there anymore?
Boldregar looks down at his half of the loaf, only a few bites taken so far, he takes one more bite then passes it to his cousin, "Here cuz, finish it."
Elody takes the bread eagerly, "You sure Boldy?"
You say, 'Yeah go head. S'ok.'
*A longears and longshanks standing tween the bar and the front fireplace are playing some music that many of the other patrons are enjoying as they talk and eat and such. After a time, something seems to come over Elody, the hobbit Minstrel.*
Elody scootches over to the longshanks playing the music, trying to not be seen too easily by them, her wide eyes watching their fingers dance across the strings eagerly.
You say, 'Cuz!'
Boldregar rushes over to his cousin quickly.
You say, 'Watcha doin Elody? You gonna get stepped on out here!'
Elody says, 'But their music, it is so lovely!'
Ceallian smiles fondly to the Hobbits. "Hello, Holbytlan."
Ceallian says, 'No, sir, I will keep an eye on her.'
Ceallian says, 'Do not worry.'
Elody says, 'I wanna be able to play like that someday Boldy!'
You say, 'I like the way you play now, cuz.'
Ceallian laughs to this. "Lady, I can teach you, if you like."
Elody looks around frightfully then darts behind Boldregar's shield arm.
Ceallian settles down her harp and curtseys deeply to Can-Calan.
Elody says, 'L-lady?'
Ceallian says, 'Well-played, sir!'
Cancalan bows deeply before Ceallian.
Ceallian looks down, nodding. "Aye?"
Cancalan says, 'It would seem we've not forgotten, eh?'
Ceallian glances to her cousin with a tiny smile.
Elody whispers to Boldregar, "That miss longshanks wasn't just talkin to me ya think?"
Ceallian says, 'No, sir, and we have new fans.'
Cancalan says, 'So it would seem!'
Ceallian folds her hands patiently, looking to the Hobbit lass.
Cancalan smiles warmly to the hobbits.
Boldregar whispers to Elody, "Yeah, I think she heard you, cuz!"
Ceallian says, 'Aye, Lady, I meant you.'
Elody whimpers.
Ceallian says, 'Are you afraid?!'
Elody says, 'I didn't mean nottin by it miss longshanks, don't hurt me!'
Elody cowers in fear before Ceallian!
You say, 'S'ok cuz, I will protect you!'
Ceallian steps back, startled herself.
Ceallian says, 'I would never hurt you!'
Ceallian looks to Can, completely lost.
Ceallian says, 'Sir? Ah...'
You say, 'That's right you wouldn't miss longshanks!'
Ceallian says, 'No... No I would not. You seem very, very brave, sir. And an adequate protector.'
Ceallian holds her hands out innocently.
Ceallian says, 'Do I appear the sort of person who would harm such fine Hobbits?'
You say, 'My shield will save her from you, and if not... I'll... why I'll bite your kneecaps off that's what I'll do!'
Ceallian says, 'M-m-my... KNEECAPS?!'
Aradwen looks to the hobbits with a bit of concern in her eyes. "What's given you reason to gather this much fear in your heart, young miss?"
You say, 'All longshanks hurt us!'
Ceallian appears completely exasperated by this.
Ceallian says, 'You are very mistaken, friends. I keep my own home in the Shire!'
Elody holds onto Boldregar's shirt tightly and tugs at him.
You say, 'Prove it then miss longshanks, I've yet to meet one of you didn't try to step on us or hurt us or rob us!'
Ceallian blinks, seeking something to say and apparently overwhelmed by the crowded room.
Elody says, 'C'mon Boldy, before there is trouble, we should go'
Ceallian says, 'Ah.. Well, I rather like pie, myself. Is that a start?'
You say, 'Oh I love pie! Do you cook 'um?'
Boldregar forgets his wariness and steps forward.
Ceallian smiles and nods. "Aye, I do. I live not far from Michel Delving so I can cook them there."
Elody seems to forget her own wariness and comes closer too.
Elody says, 'Do you have any pie?'
You say, 'We're awful hungry still'
Elody holds her rumbling belly.
Ceallian blinks to this. "No, I am sorry, I recently gave away all of the food I carried to a friend. But I can do this..."
Elody frowns.
Boldregar sighs, "I could really go for a good pie right now!"
Ceallian takes a small purse from her belt and holds it out to the little gentleman, stretching her fingertips so he won't have to come close.
Boldregar steps back warily, "What's this then? That doesn't look like no pie to me!"
Elody darts back behind Boldregar's shield arm.
Ceallian says, 'This is money, Master Holbytla, so you can buy pie.'
Ceallian nods to Can-Calan, clearly lost a bit in this matter.
You say, 'Why would give us money? You don't know us, you could step on us and take OUR money!'
Ceallian says, 'Sir! Really now! In a room full of people!'
Ceallian says, 'I would NEVER do such a thing!'
Boldregar looks around the room of longshanks and feels outnumbered.
You say, 'How do I know they aren't all in on it with you?'
Ceallian sighs, suddenly weary. She sets the purse down on the chair near the sleeping cat. "There. If you want it, take it from Kitty." She arches a brow.
Ceallian says, 'Sir, we are all together on one thing. We stand against Shadow. That is all.'
Elody tugs on Boldregar's sleeve, "Come on cousin before they step on us!
Cancalan says, 'T'would be thin to spread your purse among all in the inn, aye?'
Ceallian smiles to Can-Calan. "Aye, sir."
Boldregar shuffles across sideways to the chair, keepin an eye on the miss Longshanks.
Elody shuffles with Boldregar.
Ceallian folds her hands before her demurely.
Aradwen quirks an eyebrow at Can-calan's statement. "It may be so, Elf, but it is never wrong to share what you have with others who need it more than you do."
Boldregar reaches forward to the chair slowly for the purse, watching the miss longshanks carefully, he snatches the purse up suddenly, tosses it to Elody and yells "RUN CUZZEN!"
Ceallian watches with huge eyes, shaking her head.
Ceallian turns to Can-Calan, nodding to the Hobbit shortly.
You bow deeply before Ceallian.
You shout, 'THANKEE LONGSHANKS!'
Boldregar runs away!
Ceallian says, 'You are most welcome!'
*Back outside the Pony, the two hobbits huddle together around the corner, hidden below and behind the stairs... or so they think...*
Boldregar huddles in the corner with Elody.
Elody fingers through the coins in the purse.
Elody whispers "Boldy we could buy like TWO pies with this!
Boldregar's eyes widen.
You say, 'Really?'
Elody nods emphatically.
You say, 'And she didn't try to step on us neither!'
Elody says, 'And did you hear her play?'
You say, 'I did, it was very good!'
Ceallian pauses, listening around the corner.
Elody says, 'She said she would teach me to play if I wanted!'
You say, 'But you already know how to play!'
You say, 'And you're good too!'
Elody purses her lips.
Elody says, 'Yeah, but she is better...'
You say, 'Sh-should we... do you ... wanna go back inside?'
Ceallian laughs softly to this, clapping her hand over her mouth to silence herself.
Elody says, 'I dunno, it is still awfully scary in there!'
Boldregar nods emphatically.
Elody says, 'But I wanna thank the lady longshanks!'
You say, 'I thanked her as I ran out after you!'
Elody says, 'Oh.'
You say, 'Uh huh!'
Elody says, 'But Boldy, *I* wanna thank her too!'
Boldregar purses his lips like his cousin.
You say, 'Ok, I'll protect you then!'
Ceallian makes no comment, listening carefully with a smile.
Elody nods.
You say, 'K, c'mon then!'
Ceallian blinks, stepping quickly back.
Boldregar bumps into the lady longshanks as he rounds the corner and falls on the ground.
You say, 'OOF!'
Elody gasps!
Ceallian gasps softly. "Are you all right?"
Elody says, 'Boldy are you ok?'
You dust yourself off.
You say, 'I think so'
Elody checks Boldregar very thoroughly for any cuts or bruises.
Ceallian nervously chews the nail of her forefinger. "I hope you are well, sir."
You say, 'What's the dye-ag-nostics?'
Elody nods.
Elody says, 'Nottin broken...'
Elody says, 'No bruisies...'
Ceallian smiles, shaking her head a bit.
Elody says, 'You'll live I think!'
Boldregar nods.
You say, 'Good!'
Ceallian clears her throat. "Hello."
Ceallian curtseys politely.
You say, 'Lady Longshanks, I am Boldregar Fairfoot, at your service.'
You bow deeply before Ceallian.
Elody tugs on Boldregar's sleeve.
You point at Elody.
You say, 'And this here is my cuzzen, Elody Fairfoot.'
Elody steps forward and curtsies politely
Elody says, 'At your service'
Elody darts back behind Boldregar really quickly.
Ceallian smiles to them both. "My name is Ceallian, daughter of Braem. Most folks call me Cay. Are you lost here?"
Ceallian says, 'Aye, and I am at yours.'
Ceallian says, 'You know, I have a small sister who is a Hobbit, though a rather odd one. I only wish to be your friend.'
Elody looks up at Boldregar.
Boldregar turns to Elody and purses his lips.
Ceallian blinks, watching their exchange carefully.
You say, 'But you're a longshanks, how can you have a hobbit sister?'
Elody says, 'Yeah you're way too big to be a hobbit!'
Ceallian says, 'She is my sister, though not in blood. We were raised together.'
Elody eyes widen.
You say, 'How did that happen? You steal her or somethin?'
Ceallian says, 'No, sir. I was only a little thing, not even walking yet, when my Da' took her in.'
Ceallian says, 'She was raised with us, my brothers and I.'
Elody says, 'So HE stole her?'
Ceallian shrugs. "Perhaps, miss."
You say, 'It's not a nice thing to steal hobbits!'
Elody says, 'You gonna steal us too?!'
Ceallian says, 'No, sir, I agree. And no, I do not have time to be stealing Holbytlan.'
Elody ducks behind Boldregar's shield, "I don't wanna be stoled cuzzen!"
Ceallian says, 'Calm down! I will not steal you. What would I do with you?'
You say, 'That's good, cuz we don't wanna be stoled, and I'll bite your kneecaps if you try!'
Elody says, 'What the other longshanks do with the hobbits they steal!'
Ceallian says, 'Sir, it is I who should be frightened! All these threats to my kneecaps!'
Ceallian says, 'Lady, I do not know anyone who has stolen a Hobbit. I know many folks who are friends with them...'
Boldregar puffs up his chest in what should be a menacing manner but merely makes his paunch stick out more.
You say, 'I dunno any longshanks who are friends to Hobbits!'
Ceallian appears completely at a loss. She steps into the alley and looks up to the player.
Ceallian says, 'Pardon me, sir.'
Grayhawke says, 'Hello.'
You say, 'All they do in the shire is rob us and steal us!'
Ceallian bites her lip and glances to the player again.
Ceallian says, 'Sir, do Men make a habit of stealing Hobbits?'
Grayhawke says, 'I've never heard of someone stealing hobbits.'
Ceallian glances to the pair at her hip.
Elody looks way up to the scary longshanks then looks less up at his feet so her neck doesn't hurt.
Grayhawke says, 'Why would someone do that?'
Ceallian says, 'Aye, sir. Nor have I. Do I appear to be the sort to start such a trend?'
Grayhawke says, 'I would have to say no to that question.'
Ceallian smiles a bit to this. "My thanks, sir."
You say, 'They do it in the shire! I seen them, the longshanks they do!'
You say, 'Why should it be different anywhere else?'
Ceallian says, 'A-a-are... you sure, Master Hobbit?'
Ceallian says, 'I have heard of such things, but knew no truth!'
Elody says, 'They stole our mamma!'
Ceallian says, 'No! Where were these Men?'
You say, 'Her mamma... me auntie.'
Ceallian nods, wide-eyed.
You say, 'We heard they were somewhere near woodhall, but we couldn't find them on our own.'
Elody nods emphatically.
Elody says, 'Too many boars and wolfs in the way!'
Ceallian says, 'S-s-s...'
You say, 'And shrews, don't forget the shrews!'
Ceallian pauses a moment, collecting her thoughts.
Elody nods emphatically again.
Elody says, 'Uh huh, dirty shrews!'
Ceallian says, 'Near an old farm, close to Woodhall?'
Elody pauses.
Boldregar turns to Elody and purses his lips
Elody nods at Boldregar.
Boldregar turns back to the lady longshanks.
You say, 'That's what we heard!'
Grayhawke says, 'I don't mean to get in your conversation, but shrews are not men.'
Ceallian glances to her friend and offers him a small smile.
Boldregar looks way up at the Man.
You say, 'The shrews didn't do it, they just got in our way!'
Elody says, 'Yeah, dirty shrews!'
Elody shivers for a moment.
Boldregar pats Elody on the shoulder.
You say, 'S'ok cuz, I won't let the shrews getcha!'
Ceallian says, 'Brigands near Woodhall... Again! I need to send someone to look into this. This sounds like the work of Sharkey. The Boss, some call him...'
Ceallian quickly finds two matching pewter pins in the bag at her hip. She lays them on the edge of the wall for the Hobbits to fetch.
Ceallian says, 'These are marks, friends, of my companions. Take them and keep them. Use them how you will to stay safe, aye?'
Ceallian says, 'Show them to folks and they will help you. I loathe leaving you here alone, but I must send out word as fast as I can!'
Boldregar stands on his tippy toes to look at the pins up on the great wall.
Ceallian says, 'I cannot tend to this myself, but I know someone who can.'
You say, 'What are these?'
Elody says, 'Can we eat them?'
You say, 'They don't look like food cuz...'
Elody frowns.
Ceallian says, 'Wear them, aye, to stay safe? They are badges. Of Kinship.'
Ceallian says, 'They mean you are one of my companions and my good name will keep you safe.'
Elody says, 'But I still hungry!'
Ceallian says, 'That is what that money was for.'
You say, 'Badges? Like the bounder cap they gave me in the Shire?'
Ceallian says, 'Aye, sir, the same.'
Ceallian says, 'Master Hobbit, you can go inside and ask Barliman, who is a good Man, for a room.'
Elody says, 'It's pretty!'
Ceallian says, 'He has a special room just for your folk with little beds and the like. Ask him to keep you and feed you and he will for as long as you like.'
You say, 'Really?'
Ceallian leans down and points to the shard of stone in the pin.
Ceallian says, 'That makes these a treasure, friend.'
Ceallian says, 'Those stones are only bits of a larger piece. Of a much, much bigger treasure.'
Ceallian says, 'They are called seeing-stones and all who have a bit can talk to others who do too. If you need help, ask me, aye?'
Elody says, 'I always wanted a treasure!'
Elody runs up and hugs Ceallian's leg.
Elody says, 'Thankee lady!'
Ceallian laughs softly. "Well, you have one now, Lady. I must go now. Can you go straight to Barliman and get a room?"
You say, 'SO... there's Men inside it? What kinda magick is that?'
Ceallian tries to find patience, looking to the little lass.
Ceallian says, 'I think your cousin understands better than you do. Ask her, aye?'
Boldregar taps on the stone and peers inside it with a wide eye trying to see the tiny Men inside it.
Elody laughs at Boldregar.
Ceallian can't resist a smile. "I must leave now, friends. Be safe, and ask for me if you need me."
You say, 'Hey what's so funny now?!'
Elody says, 'Silly Boldy there's not Men inside it, it just lets you talk to Men!'
Ceallian says, 'Go, STRAIGHT inside, and get a room. Travel well. Brem holca and a pleasure to meet you.'
You say, 'Oh.'
You say, 'But what if I wanna talk to a Hobbit?'
Elody says, 'Yeah? What if we wanna talk to Hobbits instead o Men?'
Ceallian shakes her head slowly. "Good evening to you, and a pleasure."
*Ceallian walks away around the corner to check her mail at the box in front of the Pony. The two hobbits follow her.*
Boldregar tugs on Ceallian's sleeve.
Ceallian glances down, blinking.
Ceallian says, 'Aye, sir?'
Ceallian says, 'I will walk you in and get you a room. How does that sound?'
Elody says, 'That would be wonderful!'
Boldregar hugs Ceallian tightly around the leg, "Thankee miss Lon- ... Miss Ceallian!"
Ceallian laughs. "No worries. Come along."
*Back inside the still busy Pony, Ceallian walks the hobbits over to barliman to procure them a room*
Ceallian nods helplessly to her cousin, grinning and pointing to the badges of Kinship on the Hobbits.
Cancalan chuckles at Ceallian.
Elody hides behind Boldregar's shield arm.
Valtias peers towards Ceallian and lifts his voice some "What do you think, Ceallian?"
Ceallian speaks softly to Barliman, taking a small key from him.
Ceallian says, 'Think of what, eie leord?'
You say, 'I'm an on-on-... onery? Is that it?'
Ceallian keeps one very careful eye on her small friends.
Elody says, 'Honarary, you silly!'
Valtias says, 'About Goblin-town. You saw that painting on the wall. Wouldn't you say that the tunnels were originally carved by dwarves, and then conquered by goblins?'
Ceallian blinks, startled by this. She shakes her head a bit as if to ask for her friend's silence, but smiles demurely.
Aradwen says, 'I'd say those caves are older than that, given the large number of giants roaming the Misty Mountains.'
Ceallian says, 'Aye, sir, perhaps. Though I am a simple lass and do not know much of such things.'
Valtias frows slightly, then turns away from her, to give her a rest she seems to need.
Ceallian arches a brow. She reaches for the hands of the Hobbits.
Valtias says, 'Well. Enough about that place. I am quite content of staying here in Bree for the night.'
Ceallian clears her throat and nods to Valtias. "Sir, brem holca. I shall speak to you soon, I hope."
Valtias glances at the hobbits, then nods to Ceallian "good eve."
*Ceallian takes the hobbits by the hand and walks them through the Pony past many longshanks in the midst of various things, to a room in which some longshanks appear to be tending to the wounds of another of them.*
Ceallian smiles to her new friends. "This will be your room, when it is clear. You can stay here in the inn as long as you wish.
You can eat what you like from the kitchen too, aye?"
Elody eyes widen up brightly, "REALLY!?"
Ceallian says, 'Aye, but mind me!'
You say, 'There's always a catch!'
Ceallian says, 'Keep away from the ale. Too many spirits in a place like this will lead to only danger.'
Boldregar puffs up his chest again, exposing a bit of paunch at the waistline and taps his chest with his fist.
You say, 'I can handle spirits better'n anything lady!'
Elody laughs at Boldregar.
Elody says, 'Yeah he can! Ask him 'bout last festival when I found him passed out 'neath the party tree!'
You say, 'Pssh! Shssh!'
Ceallian tries to hide her deep yawn behind her hand. "Stay inside at night and send word if you need me. And no, sir, please, heed me. Keep your head about you and look after your cousin."
Ceallian smiles again. "Be well. I shall check on you when I can. Aye?"
You say, 'Yes lady, I can look out after Elody. Always has!'
You say, 'Always will!'
Boldregar smiles beamingly.
Elody nods.
Elody says, 'Ok'
Boldregar nods.
Elody hugs Ceallian's right leg tightly.
Boldregar hugs Ceallian's left leg tightly.
Ceallian laughs, turning away hesitantly. She glances back many times as she makes her way up the stairs.
You say, 'C'mere cuz, you can rest under the bearlegs, I'll watch you til the room is free.'
Elody lies down next to Boldregar.
Elody says, 'Hey cuz?'
You say, 'Yeah?'
Elody says, 'I like this lady longshanks, this miss Ceallian, I think she is nice!'
Boldregar purses his lips.
You say, 'Yeah, me too!'
You say, 'Nicest longshanks I ever met yet anyways!'
Elody nods emphatically.
You say, 'And cuz, guess what?!'
Elody says, 'What?'
You say, 'In the morning we're having TWO pies for breakfast!'
Elody cheers at Boldregar.
You bow deeply before Elody.
You say, 'Now get some rest.'
Elody says, 'K'
Elody lies down next to Boldregar.
Boldregar sits down next to Elody and draws his sword, letting it rest idly near his swordarm, his shield hand gently caresses his cousin's hair, petting her to sleep.
MODIFIED: some typos and stuff missed in original editing is all
*Two hobbits, Elody Fairfoot, a minstrel and her cousin Boldregar Fairfoot, a warden Bounder initiate, leave the Shire for the first time and begin a journey to Bree in search of help to rescue their relatives.*

Elody shouts, 'RUN BOLDY! DA BOAR IS GONNA GET US!'
*They run nearly nonstop all the way from the Brandywine to Bree and then pause after making it through the ginormous West Gate of Bree.*

You say, 'S'ok cuz, we made it'
Elody says, 'But but, lookit this place it's GINORMOUS!'
Boldregar eyes darting all around, nods to this
Elody says, 'How are we ever gonna find the Mayor longshanks in this place?'

Boldregar purses his lips in thought.
Elody says, 'Well can we get some foods first, I haven't eaten since elevensies!'
