You all know I live in the sticks, also known as Hillbilly Hell. While Amari and I were doing laundry today, at the very same laundromat a man once tried persuade me into his van by telling me there were puppies in there, we noticed this sign. I feel so blessed to be eddikated.

We thought about stealing the sign but realized it prolly took him hours to carve out all that lett'rin. So we left it alone.

The sad thing is, I'd be more likely to go to someone like this for a custom made bow than to some big company with a flashy catalog. Sometimes craftsmanship trumps book learnin'.

Was a time where literacy and the ability to write, were reserved for the nobility and the church. I'm sure he makes a damn fine bow if he can work with all those materials.

LOL! Good point. Sorta.
O ya. "Howller" is supposed to be "Holler." Our version of like.. Boulevarde. Which is hella hard to spell and say when you're playing the washboard and drinking shine outta a jar at the same time.

Wow...just, wow.
It somehow surprises me the things that people do when computers and spell checkers are available. I grew up in a hick town as well, and I know mine has libraries with computers (not good ones, but ones with word processor) and printers. Free to use and print from with less than 15 pages....
Then again, I tend to be hard on people. ;D

Um... Our library doesn't have computers and the town this guy is from is on the other side of the lake and they don't have a library at all! Those guys have to drive half an hour to come buy groceries here. XD

I guess I'm not seeing what you guys are seeing. The sign communicates what he does quite well.
