We need to have a grand party to celebrate our recent move to Undervale! I have lots of ideas for activities, including music and a dance, and perhaps a raffle for some nice items.
Any ideas for when we should do this? And all suggestions for activities are welcome and encouraged.

I think all of those activities sound like fun. I could perhaps craft some things for raffle, though most of those are level dependent, so perhaps not so great. So far as when, there is never a perfect time. I know you keep pretty good tabs on the rest of the world, so I'd say to try to avoid having it conflict with another major event. Beyond that, any time is a good time. Hopefully it won't start too late in the evening EST.

The best chance I would have of attending this would be if it was on the weekend. Granted the 4th of July is next Sunday so that might press a lot of folks for time. Really I'm good with any day, just so long as I know well in advance. Hmmm such an event would also be a great testing area for my card game .

I was thinking the following weekend. Fridays and Saturdays can be a bit dead, mostly because people have these "lives" I keep hearing about. I can't say I've paid that much attention to Sundays lately (days tend to blur together when you spend all your time at home with somebody who still poops his pants) and as a general rule I like to start things off no later than 8pm EST, though 7 or so seems to be the practical choice.
As far as a raffle goes, I can make some armour sets, stacks of crit food items, provide some cosmetic items, and come up with some higher-level LIs and such. People would have to be present to win and we would use a raid and the /roll command to determine winners. I'd also like to see us provide a multi-piece band for dancing. We had a really fun sparring tourney that we split up into groups according to level and it would be cool to see how sparring works with the crowd over level 30 that can include skirmish soldiers. I offered a cash prize to each level group.
If we can set a date we can get things moving and I'll start advertising to the server to get the most folks to attend. I'll need help with hosting, though I can organize things quite easily, so volunteers to hand out refreshments, provide music (we can ask a group of friends outside the kin if we don't have enough folks in LT volunteer to help run the event), and host the raffle and sparring (if we decide to include these) among other activities we may include, are an absolute necessity.
Because I get easily overwhelmed in large groups of people RPing (everyone on the server sends me /tells and of course wants to chat IC) I'd like for Cay to have a simple and quiet role in the event, such as playing music, so I can handle coordination and OOC matters. This means I'd also like to see a volunteer as an MC of sorts who has lots of patience and won't get terribly sidetracked in too much chat with the neighbors. As I said, I can get everything together and come up with an itenerary but this requires a lot on my part so I won't be able to participate in much IC interaction.
This is based on my past experience with hosting large events and learning what does and does not work the hard way!
So... go team, go! Lemme know what you think.

Been slaving away farming. Going to do some more tonight.
COOKS!: Do you need any farmable mats? I'm in a groove now, and would be happy to farm for ya.

So. Unless you guys decide you want to do specific events at our party, I'm down with a good old low-maintenence shindig because I won't be able to singlehandedly throw a bash and do activities as well. This is not a bad thing; simplicity has it's virtues! How about we plan on gathering and passing out pipeweed and ale, playing a few songs, and sharing some stories?
Anything additional will be a nice surprise but I think more work than our busy kinship has time for!
If you sent me something for our raffle, please send me an in-game note and I'll return it asap, since I'm not going to have the presence of mind in my current state of NO SLEEP to be able to coordinate it.
kthxbai!
